It was typical 'previous Bills teams' as they hurt themselves in the foot, falling into a deficit on defense and Allen attempting to overcompensate to dig his team from the situation - rather than the calm, controlled, well-balanced Bills we've seen this season

Miami have demonstrated a varied performances this season so the jury's out on if this is the beginning of something, but for Buffalo they'll need an immediate bounce-back in a difficult matchup against the Buccaneers next week as the New England are quietly moving into a nice lead at the summit of the American Football Conference East

Speaking of the New England, they're one of three 8-2 teams in the NFL, all American Football Conference teams, but are they the top team?

One could find flaws in New England, Denver and the Colts really for dominating the lesser sides, with only five of their total 24 wins coming against teams with a winning record - and one example was the Colts beating the Denver

Traveling to Baltimore is also tough, but the Broncos have it even tougher in the AFC West division with the Chiefs to play twice, the Chargers (who could also challenge for top seed but face the same problem) and additionally the Green Bay on the schedule

The Indianapolis also face the Kansas City, and have the Seahawks, 49ers and two matchups with the five and four Jaguars to contend with. There is a long way to travel but the door is available for a surprise number one position in the American Football Conference

Both squads with strong arguments to be superior to all of the three different eight and two sides are NFC West rivals the Seahawks and Rams, who both put up 40 burgers to go to seven and two ahead of the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster game between the two in Los Angeles

The Seahawks also lost to San Francisco, with a late touchdown in week one, before losing to the final play of the game against the Tampa Bay - so they are truly among the best sides in the league

The next matchup on Sunday could be the most exciting of the year to date
